Energy generation modern technologies were at the centre of this year’s VGB Congress in Lyon.
Technical progress involves perspectives for all sources of energy that are part of our modern energy mix. Addressing all sources of energy, from fossil fuel to nuclear power, wind and hydro energy, the congress programme offered a comprehensive and in-depth overview of technology developments on today's agenda, focusing in particular on issues relqting to efficiency increase and achievement of environmental protection.
Designing, constructing and operating optimum power plants is however not sufficient. The creation of trust, creditability and acceptance by society is also decisive for new technologies to be effective. The VGB Congress Power Plants 2009, by offering a large technical exhibition and high-level panel of speakers, intended to contribute to the debate and knowledge on today’s power generation prospects.
EPPSA participated again to this event with a joint booth at stand A1.
