International Power Summit
Utilities have placed increased demands on their supply chain organisations to lower costs, improve supplier performance and increase market expertise. With the global expansion of utility companies and the on-going development and redevelopment of power plants in regions such as Eastern Europe and Asia, especially China, there has never been a better time to develop international partnerships than now.
Together with suppliers, Utilities have had to move towards establishing new partnerships, developing new market expertise in areas such as commodity brokerage, whilst delivering supply chain savings to operating budgets.
The International Power Summit provides this link. IPS 2011 presented the industry with the most effective platform for partnerships at both a technical and a strategic level.
EPPSA was invited to chair the two day conference and to give its views on the impact of infringements to Intellectual Property Rights on power plant operators.
