2nd International Workshop - EnergieAgentur.NRW
This years International Workshop, organized by the EnergieAgentur.NRW, is dedicated to the topic of
"CO2: CCS and CCU in Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland and Scotland - Challenges and Chances".
It will take place from 9. - 10. November 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Experts worldwide agree that CCS can considerably reduce the emissions of CO2. As some countries are experiencing challenges with the implementation of the necessary technology, this workshop deal with the questions of the technological "state of the art", the first results of demonstration projects and the issue of public acceptance and costs.
Further, global agreements, the European legal frameworks and the specific conditions in five European countries, as wlel as the processes as such and the implementation of technical solutions in power plants and other industries, will be dealt with.
You will have the opportunity to establish contacts and discuss current issues directly and expand your activieites to pursuit concrete co-operations in a matchmaking transnational environment.
