BWE is an historical name in the boiler market. The Company was acquired by STF in 2002 and it is located in Gentofte, Denmark (close to Copenhagen). BWE carries out state of the art boiler engineering projects and delivers, among others, high-pressure, high temperature utility boilers fuelled by oil, gas, coal and biomass, as well as auxiliary processes components and flue gas cleaning plants. BWE designs, manufactures and erects complete boiler plants for power stations, industries and public utility companies.
The Avedøre Unit 2, Copenhagen, Denmark: this modern power plant includes an Ultra Super Critical (USC) boiler equipped with a BWE quad-sector type Air Preheater.
